How To Tie

Begin by threading the Fly Line through the small hole on either side of the Leader-Link then through one side of the Leader-Links Slot.

Next, thread the Leader through the small hole on the other side of the Leader-Link then through the other side of the Leader-Links Slot.

Tie an overhand knot in the Fly Line and pull it tight. Clip the excess Fly Line close to the Knot.

 

Tie a Clinch knot in the Leader and pull it tight. Clip the excess Leader close to the Knot. (Use of an overhand Knot in the Leader will cause it to pull through the Leader-Link)

Press the Leader side knot into the slot of the link with your thumbnail or a tool.

Press the Fly Line side knot into the slot of the link with your thumbnail or a tool.

​

Pull the Leader and the Fly Line in order to secure the knots and test your connection, the knots should be fully encased by the Leader-Link.
